My LA friend told me Ocean Park Hong Kong is now ranked as no. 2 on the rarity of various animals and I was told it's now within the top 5 around the World in general. My overall impression of Ocean Park. They have a very good management. The staff are very polite and smart too. They charge HK$250 with a cash $50 as a total rebate - no need to spend $100 and get $10 back. Just use the $50 as a cash for shopping and eating inside the Park. That means it's $200 net. This is a very good marketing strategy as you would feel comfortable to spend more money. Then they earn back more thant the $50 rebate. The other theme park in HK really look into it rather than just increasing their entrance fee, now close to HK$500.
