This one is part of a lotus containing lotus seeds inside, and is widely used as a Chinese sweet soup in the summer time with winter melon, barley, little red beans 赤小豆, "eye brow" beans, lotus leaf and some white "cotton-like" strings (don't know the exact English term and in Chinese it's 棉登). That sweet soup is 去濕水 I should refer to (clearing the accumulated negative "indigestive" elements in our body). I used to play this thing as a UFO when I was a kid, before letting my grand ma drop it in the sweet soup. :)
We have home made ice cream, home made bread, home made turnip cake. This is my home made unidentified flying object.
