As I strolled along this area and the other side of Huang Pu river, it seemed like a time gap of 50 years. It witnessed what happened in this gap of 50 years. So this area remains reluctantly unchanged becomes an indirect preservation of the old time architectures. I then thought of Hong Kong. Now that many high rise buildings replaces most of the buildings in the 30's.
