The prime rib and the house-made ice cream are still kept at good quality. All the other cold and hot dishes are at average to above average. As noted, it wasn't crowded as before, or even considered as pretty empty. Good for me to have an ambient dinner simply for the prime rib and ice cream.

Silver Wave 銀波, Chinese restaurant, Chatrium riverside BKK
Gentle advice: choose the siu ma only from the a-la-carte and enjoy the panoramic view of Chaophyra river on this 36th floor, the top floor of Chatrium riverside. The other dim sum are not worth trying, not even mention their dim sum lunch buffet at THB695 net. The waitress asked for my comments on their food quality and insisted on why I said "average". I simply replied it's way below the Cantonese dim sum standard and in considering this price, it's not worth it. Interesting that she didn't say a word; so what an unnecessary question for an answer they don't wanna hear.

2012 summer review: Marriott Cafe, Marriott Singapore
Visited here last year and have been impressed much. So at the recent visit in Singapore, I had to come here again. The variety and the food quality dropped a bit. The seafood is still very fresh, but the oyster supply is not enough. At just 7pm something, the chef decided to replace the oysters with mussels. Very discouraging. Suggest they should simply cut that out.

A happy breakfast to start with, at Epicure, Niyama Maldives
Though the resort wasn't full (about 40% occupancy rate due to quite a no. of studios being renovated as they were built quite some years ago), the restaurant still keeps its buffet at a high quality. Fresh fruit juices, nice coffee, fine preserve from Sri Lanka, nice bread (served warmed after you picked them), house made yoghurt and museli/cereal, various hot food and 10 choices of fresh fruits. This simply reminds me of the breakfast of MO BKK (in 2006/07). A happy breakfast marks a new happy day to begin with!
