 The shop has a very interesting an diverse menu of sweet, ice cream, shaved ice, cream roll, custard, ice cream sandwich...  For those who like typical Japanese sweet (to me it means super sweet), this is the place.

Hagen Daz, Windsor House, Causeway Bay, HK

 Hagen Daz still offers its tea set for a cake with ice cream and a coffee at around HK$70-80.  This time I chose a chico mouse cake with a green tea ice cream and a mocha.  The green tea ice cream isn't that sweet and I guess it's made in France.  So nice to go with the choco. cake and mocha.

Hagen Daz has been doing pretty well in HK with more and more new shops in many prime location. Yet, most of the shops are having a good business. My nephew specially requested his most favourite warm chocolate cake (photo 2). I had a small bite and know why my nephew insisted on it. I took a green tea shake and it's a bit milky to me. My sister took a waffle (photo 3). I of course had another bite. That's really worth waiting for a table.

Marvelous Cream (Japanese sweets parfait), Siam Paragon BKK

This shop is just next in between The Grill Tokyo and Crystal Jade in Siam Paragon. The hand-toss ice cream is a bit Italian gelatin. The top sellers are Strawberry shortcake (photo 4) and Mont Blanc (photo 3) which are firmer in texture. I somehow prefer firmer ice cream. I took the shop's recommendation of a choco. chip hand-toss ice cream, but don't like it much. I would prefer the 2nd top seller Mont Blanc after all. In general, the flavour is very Japanese.

Melt Me, soi 10 thonglor BKK (better out of the worst)

This shop is just opposite to the Noodle court. So the good thing about this shop is that it ought to be better after the visit of its neighbour noodle shop. To be honest, it's not good either.

Shops with an open kitchen has been a trend but it also exposed on the mistakes they would make. I ordered a "Shibuya toast". Naturally I got curious to go have a look at how they made it. So when they took a half loaf of bread sealed with some plastic wrap from the fridge in which I saw quite a lot of other food, I told myself "it's gonna be a multi-aroma" toast. Anyway, it turned out the outside wasn't toasted enough and the inside is too soft and in fact the bread wasn't raised and baked right. As a bread person, I left it untouched on the plate. So I could just take some ice cream. Yes, some. I had the yoghurt flavour to safeguard but it's too artificial.

Mado Turkish Ice Cream since 1850, Jusco, Kornhill, Hong Kong

Passed by this shop quite several times and finally I got a try. The shop is nicely decorated and makes you feel like you are in a blue sea by the Kingdom of Turkey and also quite greek atmosphere.

1. The shop now has an offer for buy 1 get 1 free (free 1 is only for 2 choices green tea or peach). 2. So I chose a mulberry ice cream. Both are quite sweet and very tangy. I think I am poisoned by the ice cream of Thung Kruen. I start not to enjoy other ice cream. I left some behind....

3. See this beautiful porcelain cup and plate. 4. Very nice tiles.
5. Jusco has quite a no. of nice shops now, unlike the old days here was a food court.
