Deluxe Suites, Park Plaza soi 18, Sukhumvit BKK

This hotel has given me a very complex feeling. On the first stay in July last year, the door was semi-opened when I returned from dinner outside. I was very irritated from such a careless mistake. However, the room and the facilities gradually twisted my impression on a perfect side. Not easy at all when we have a very bad impression in the first place. Again, this told us we should try to avoid our prejudice.
The hotel is now having quite a big discount for all of their room types (superior US$62, deluxe US$67, corner deluxe US$75 and deluxe suites US$92 *all with ++). This time I tried this deluxe suites show below. It's very spacious at around 45 sq. m. net. The room has a very big window (photo 2) with the street view (opposite to Oakwood Trilliant serviced apt.). Once again, I am so amazed at how they can have such a perfect sound proof when this window is so big on the side. Another remark is their bed mattress - very even and not too hard nor soft. The air-con. is also very good to have your exact desired temperature. Only these 3 can make you a perfect rest. This suites has a nice coffee brewing machine, and more than enough bottled water. Soi 18 is also a very convenient location in Asoke with both BTS sky train and MRT subway.

Korat Japanese restaurant, Ekkamai, BKK

Just like what's shown on the photo 1, this shop's signature dish is their chicken. In order to survive, the shop offers an all-you-can-eat dinner at THB399++. The food is quite at average but in terms of this price, it's a very bargain deal.

Okashi by Pooni Patissier, Nawamin festival Walk BKK

The eye catching colorful cakes of his place are very tempting. What's more, the iced berry fruit tea is irresistible. I like the way they served the iced tea. The shop apparently has its signature berry sauce for the drink and the cakes. Indeed this sauce is very special for berry lovers. The cakes are not bad, except the melon tart is a bit too soft. Seems like the new comers of cakes and pastries shops in Bangkok tend to make their cakes less sweet.

Nawamin Festival Walk, BKK

Nawamin Festival Walk is on the north east of the Greater Bangkok. Good to come here on Sunday for a break from the bustling downtown or crowded shopping malls. Lovely river stream and swaying trees with the shops and restaurants around. Shopping can be this relaxing!
