A new theme for December lunch buffet at HK$178++ (15% discount for HSBC card holders).
Photo no. 1: chilled chicken in ginger/scallion. Quite surprised to try this one in chill.
2: Chilled cauliflower soup. Also surprised with this one. Very nice and smooth.
3. Shrimp cocktail with beans. Nice combination.
4. Cheese with dried fruits and crackers. Surprisingly good and it's in a nice fusion presentation.
5/6. Chilled and fresh salad. I love the artichoke.
7. At HK$178, they serve Spanish "black" pig parma ham. Amazing.
8. Sushi at average.
9. This Chinese soup "Dried/fresh ba choy with pork". It's in long hour boiling. Nice for this autumn season.
10. BBQ Pork, beef, jelly fish at average.
11. Turkey with stuffing and prime rib. Turkey is a bit dry but the stuffing is nice with lots of chestnut and raisins. However, the prime rib is of high quality but not in a slow roasting.
12/13. Stir fried veggie. Nice stir frying and I love the baby cabbage and it's selected. Check how tightly grown it is.
14. Spaghetti Bolognese. Pretty nice and at least it's freshly made to your order.
15. More salad.
16/17. Christmas cookies and pastry at average.
18. forgot the exact term but it's kind of a pasta and claimed to be from Texas. Anyway, it's also quite al dente and nice stir frying.
19. Ice cream from Movenpick, but I don't like Movenpick. Overall, HK$178 is much worth for the food quality they serve. Actually even without the fresh order of pasta, the buffet variety is already good enough.
20. the restaurant.
21. the the hotel is in between Causeway Bay and Happy Valley on Leighton Road.
