One thing that would capture my appetite in Indian food is Nan and Roti. I don't like curry much or the paste food or creamy food. So what I would enjoy is the Indian BBQ. However, trying it once in a while is not that bad and sometimes we need to see how the other food would be. Ok, this restaurant is quite renowned for its shop in Osaka, Japan. Yes, Japan for Indian food and it's a good story for us to know that cuisine is not confined to its origin. Overall, the food is quite nice.1. the shop
2. Potato and cauliflower curry
3. just a coke and ginger ale to prepare for the hot curry, but we find out it's not that hot as we chose the mildest ones. Note the behind and you will know where this restaurant is.
4. BBQ lamb chops and chicken legs
5. Basil Nan
6. Chicken curry
7. seafood curry, but again the prawn was not fresh enough.

Correct. It's quite Indian taste and doesn't have the Japanese curry fusion in it.

OK, I know where it is as you said on the 3rd photo. It's World trade Centre, because Zen is behind the restaurant. What floor is this one?

Man, it's now called Central World. This Indian restaurant should be on the top floor. Try it if you wanna taste something different in BKK. Also choose the hot degree to 3-4 (maximum is 50). Last time we chose 1-2 but it's almost nothing.
This Indian food is quite interesting and the location is so convenience, at Central World. Must try sometime. I am envy your recent trip had sampled so many food variety, not just Thai and Japanese, but around-the-world cuisine.
Then I shall go to Central World 7/F and try this Spicy Maharaja out. For me the hot gauge shall be 30-40, not 1-2 you little kids ate.
BTW, do you know what is Maharaja stand for?

Stella, why u need an obsolete iPhone 3G to translate? just click to an internet dic. they all can translate; tell u what, in Japan, mobile phone long before (few years ago) has touch screen, GPS, and those functions an iPhone has now, plus those phones r 3.5G, not only 3G which consider 'out' in Japan, HK and Europe (that's why iPhone not dare to launch its phone outside the US while it was only 2G last year); only Job himself think this is innovative; well but the designer is nice, people in Japan and HK still buy the phone because of the design, not the function

I am not sure if I shall declare Stella or In the Sea the winner, as Maharaja really means the greatest king.
But I read the answer from In the Sea comment, not Stella's; although In the Sea explained that she cannot log on to the blog in the office.
Therefore I think if some other surfers have the same problem or not, but they are not that lucky to have In the Sea email address.

I also have to treat my 2 friends by telling me the answers at almost the same time. So I actually "lose" by guessing the right answer. But it is fun though.

Actually some of my Asian friends told me some words in Thailand/Malaysia are crossed influenced. Like Phuket, it's originated by some Malays finding this island and claimed it as "Bukit" (means Mountain in Malay) because they saw mountain at the first sight.
The word 'Maha' is commonly use in the Thai society, it means great or greatest. Like the Greater Bangkok area in Thais is 'Krungthep Maha Nakorn' and the USA is a 'maha amnat' to the world as it is a super power country. So it is a Thai word and it is also a Hindu-influence Thai word.
More specific the word Maha and Raja was 2 originated Hindu words. Correct Sea and Stella, many South East Asian languages esp. those with Hindu influence have cross-influence words, likes Malay, Indonesian, and Thais all have Hindu-influence words in their own languages system.
As Spicy Maharaja is an Indian restaurant, of course the name is naturally very Indian and Hindu. We don't expect an Indian restaurant be named The Great Panda Inn, or Lemongrass, or even Le Feta!
