The service of this Lounge has obviously improved, but only for the Lounge. The other staff weren't that enthusiastic to greet, nor even spontaneously see you in certain gesture.
The Lounge offers a high tea set at THB750++. 1. Lemon grass tea. Quite disappointing and strange that some tea leaves was put together and that overwhelmed the nice aroma of lemon grass. They should go check the tea served by Tea Room (by Grand Hyatt) or MO on this Thai symbolic tea. So I thought this tea set should be more international when the lemon grass tea failed. Unfortunately, their iced mocha and the cake set failed too in general. Even McCafe makes a better mocha, not even mention Starbucks. What further annoyed me is their scone. Too much butter in it as well as on all the other finger sandwich and bagel. I can just taste butter only. Furthermore, the madeleine is hard and chewy. The chef used too much egg white and also batter it too much.
When we put aside the drink and food quality, the trays were put in a wrong order. Supposed the finger sandwich is on the top tray, then the scone and the mini cakes. The place is also in a wrong location with access to the so-called oasis pool area. Check photo 5. The pool access room is just next to the Lounge. As when we walk by this area, our shoes dirt is on the walkway and so it goes down to the pool. I saw quite some people treat this area as a smoking section. I tried to claim it as a luxury street-like sewage pool but it's even worse as the public sewage is connected to each other to drain the water. This one is not connected. All I can think of is the warning sign on the beach "swim at your own risk".

Glad that I took your advice not to stay here.
I didn't discourage for not staying here. The hotel has its good points as it's close to Central World (on the short cut) and Siam area. If it's not about the pool and the restaurant, the location is good.
