Tuesday delight: afternoon tea at Flavors, Renaissance Ratchaprasong BKK

Got a request for rewinding to Renaissance Bangkok. There it goes for a nice afternoon tea. Yes, somtam and Pad Thai for afternoon tea. I like the somtam though it's not very local (less sweet and salty). The Pad Thai is pretty good with some very nice and fresh tiger prawn. Lemon tart is very refreshing and not too sweet. The drink ginger ale mojito is very surprising to me. Highly recommended.

oh here v c Flavors again

(real) tiger prawns in phad Thai, big and fresh, not CP prawns, the dish is cheap price considered three (or four? forget) big tiger prawns as ingredients ..

btw, i went to La Tavola already, soup so-so, pizza average, risotto texture is good but flavor so-so, greens r good (salad dressing quite good), meats very good, desserts so-so ..

La Tavola dropped that quick? Now it may spread to Fei Ya and Flavors. Let us check check before the Lady arrives. We have to make sure the eating agenda to be flawless. :)

well La Tavola is good too, just being perceptive, i compare La Tavola to Grossi across the street, i think Grossi does better pizza, minestrone and pinna cotta, but the meats at La Tavola is good, and the price with the Marriott Gold benefit ..

SEA, I think you need to go BKK again at least once before August 29 in order to do lots of food tasting, cake tasting, ice cream tasting.....

I see. Very true that if we take the Marriott Gold into consideration. Stella, no problem. We will carry that out soon.
