Wang Mao was born in the year of 1988 and passed on 31st May, 2008 while I was in Seoul. The first photo was him with a night owl taken in the late 80's. Yes, there was a night owl in my home and actually my child hood was already like National Geography channel. The 2nd photo was him and his cousin called "Butterfly junior". Why we called that as butterfly as his fur pattern color is like butterfly - very balanced. Then the last 2 photos was taken in November, last year. Wang Mao has witnessed so many things in my family and adored by my sisters much. His departure marked another page. So long, Wang Mao, good having you in our family. I guess you might want to find your twin brother Bao Mao (who passed away 2 years ahead of him). I recalled every night he went out seaching for his twin brother Bao Mao just after Bao Mao was gone.

Oh this is kind of sad. I am afraid of having more pets now because of this reason. I cannot take it.
Well, may be Wang Mao and Sha Sha are now together in heaven. Sha Sha is my friend's cat who passed away earlier this year. My friend asked Sha Sha on the 49th night if she has reincarnated please show something odd. The same night my friend sat in toilet and see a wind movement from outside to the restroom, and then Sha Sha's foot print was on the wall.
Actually I had another cat called "White Junior" from my age from 12-15. He was such a clever cat and he sneaked from the toilet door of how people do their things. Then he did the same. So we don't bother with his littering. As we just flushed after he was done. Then for lunch or dinner, he didn't make any noise nor did anything to attract your attention. When I made the meal for him, I used the chopsticks to hit his bowl. Then just in a few seconds, he would run to me for the meal. However, when our parrot flew away, he left a 3 days later. He used to pet the parrot much. I didn't take him as a cat as he did all the things which a normal cat wouldn't do. After he was gone, my heart was frozen and even up until now. Sorry Wang Mao and Bao Mao, please excuse me for saying so. So long....
I like to have pets but I am also afraid to have pets, both for the same sentimental reason.
Since 3 years ago, we have one cat from the next street. She comes to our house the same time every day(9am and 4 pm) for food. I am amazed she is so on time, even better than human beings.

1) I just found out from my friend's email that Sha Sha's spirit was revealed as rainbow instead of footprint. I heard it wrong.
2) Did you mean "Wang Mao" die on June 7th, 2008?
So Sad...bye bye Wang Mao. I'm sure he had a very good life with your family.
Thanks Stella for the reminding. I just corrected the date. It should be one week earlier. You may wonder how I can predict Wang Mao will die at this weekend.
Jiyeon, thanks for your warm word. Not sure if we gave him a good time. As far as I know, no matter how hard or what weather it was, my sister often go buy Wang Mao's favourite fish called "9 Sticks" (九棍).
Thanks Mr. Sea for your clarification. Yes, I almost thought you have supernatural power so you can predict Wang Mao's pass away since supernatural power is the topic this week. I am quite interested in this topic. Will discuss with my friend Cindy more on this.
It's so sad to hear about the cats' passing away. Twenty years was a long life though.
Called my sister. It was an aweful week for them. Wang Mao dropped his tears, looking at my sister helplessly when my sister went there a few days before he was gone. Besides, it hurt my father much as Wang Mao accompanied him for his hardest time of getting the Chemo Therapy. All I could comfort them again "life is just a journey". We end it for another new beginning. Round and round it goes.
