Thanks Jaime. What a cool term "Jabba with Alien". For those who are fans of "Star Wars", Jabba is that gross big fat worm-like landlord in the Star Wars 3. He held the "lovely" princess Lea on hostage (glad that princess Lea finally gave up her doughnut hair style at that scene). Then Luke Skywalker came to rescue her, but Luke's "Jedi force" couldn't work on Jabba. Of course, hero got his way out, and saved the "doughnut free" Princeess Lea out of the danger.
Actually it can be cooked and some local fishermen love it quite much. I recall my father told me a ghost story among the fishermen. It's called "Eel ghost". If at the night time, when you are out for fishing, you saw a comb (yes a comb that is used to comb your hair) floating up from the sea, you need to get prepared to leave. Then if you are not fast enough to leave, when you saw some hair floating up, you will be given a serious warning. You need to run like a fugitive. So if you can't make it, then the last thing coming up to you is the "eel ghost" which can bite you and swallow you from head to toe. At that time, I already raised so many questions to this spooky story. What kind of comb is it? Since it's so dark, how could we see the hair on the sea surface? :)
Stella, it should be Tai Lam. I think for those who don't touch the stock market this year, it means they make money. So I am going to buy something to greet for myself out of this trouble and also to help with the retail economy, though not much.
Yes, that's also something I told the others. Within 30 minutes, you can go to a very green mountain, then back to the hustling city life in another 30 minutes. Same for going to the beach and sea. Kind of a special place for everything to be on this tiny island and its 256 big and small islands around.
Now I know what it means "in the sky" on this blog. Do you mean it's cloud "in the sky" from that photo "in the sky"?

Yes, HK is such an unique place. All my "Kwai Lo" clients are impressed with the food and the convenience of things in HK. You can go to the mountain and to the sea in the same day. It is really lucky to be HK people(good foods, good shoppings, so many good places from sea to shining sea, smart people-just look at how fast the HK banking industry reacts to fully cover the deposit with no limit while Bush and FDIC in the US are still scratching their heads).
Didn't eat it. I chatted with my friend who knows why people don't eat this kind of eel. It's because this eel eats only decayed meat, especially corpse. So if you fish this kind of eel, you need to go away because it means there may be some corpses around the area you stay. That makes sense for the "ghost story" I got told.
Stella, there was a time I brought 2 Californians to try the subway of HK. When I told them "we had better go by subway.". They looked at me with a worrying face. When they were on the platform of the subway, then they told me "wow, how come the subway here is so clean? Even the people are standing in line". Then I know what he means from his past experiences.
Hi Jonathan, it's always interesting to know such stories that are mostly told by our folks when we were kids. Whether to believe it or not to these days it somehow brings back fond memories of the old days.

Yes, you are right that either it's a true or false or lousy stories, it often reminded us of our childhood and the persons who told those. Yes, those were from my grand mom and father.
