Cherubin, Choco. cake shop, Suk 31, Bangkok

Sukhumvit has been changing a lot. Now on almost every soi, you will find a lot of different restaurants from Indian, Korean, Japanese, Italian, French, Mediterranean, Chinese....etc. Soi 31 is now not the same as before. You can simply go in this soi and walk at leisure. You will find something very interesting, from small boutique hotels to some nice cozy coffee shops. This one Cherubin offers some very nice choco cakes.

1/2. the shop inside.

3. Various choco. cakes. 4. Minty Chcocolate frost - it is quite nice but a bit sweet.

5. French Choco. - the fresh cream is freshly made. Must try! 6. Brownie on cheese cake - not to my preference. The shop had better put their attention to the choco. cakes instead.

7. Nuts about Choco. - this is quite nice. The caramel almond on top makes it go with the choco. taste. Must try!

Did you come here with our dear friend Miss Flower? Lucky her. She can get all these nice cakes. Choco cakes are my favorite as long as they are bitter and not too sweet.
99% of the cakes I had in BKK are better than in LA as they are not as sweet and yet had the good taste.

Stella, TC brought you some those selective shops for the not-so-sweet cakes. There are indeed some shops for "sweet" cakes. Yes, we are here with Madam Fa. She does enjoy the trip a lot. Will post more photos later on.

Yes more photos please so I can "eat" all of them from here without guilt(also free of charge).
Please also include some photos of madam "Flower" as she is as sweet as the choco cake.
Because of this post I ate chocolate ice cream last night(the "lotus cup" from Haagen-Dazs).

"Lotus cup" Haagen-Dazs is $1 US here. Do you know how much in HK and BKK?

$3 in BKK.
