灣仔新潮軒, Sun Chiu Heen, Wanchai Road, HK

This restaurant is just next to Wanchai market on Wanchai Road leading to Queen's Rd. E.
1. preserved turnip, bean curd mix 椒醬肉 (complimentary). Pretty nice and the chilli hot is in the middle. Good to go with congee.
2. Lo Shui goose slices and octopus HK$98. The meat is a bit chewy. The octopus is super chewy. I guess they used some very high heat to cook octopus.
3. Preserved veggie white pepper meat ball soup HK$68. Originally it's with pork belly, but got curious if meat ball can be replaced. It turned out very nice. This soup made up for the dish no. 2.
4. Stir fried bean sprouts with salty fish, HK$48. Quite a nice stir fried.
5. Pan fried "water" gourd (水瓜) shrimp omelette HK$78. It's a nice one, pretty aromatic but the shrimp isn't too fresh.
6. Bean curd sheet sweet (complimentary). 7/8. the shop.
