Lux Bistro and Bar, D'Aguilar Street, Central HK

The white-collar people in Central seem to be not so interested in climbing up a bit in this section of D'Aguilar Street or the area commonly known as Lan Kwai Fong.  It was almost 1pm but this place wasn't too busy.  I wondered if this restaurant was worth trying.  Later on as I walked to Queen's Road and Pedder Street, the scene of people mountain people sea is still there.  That simply told how most of the HK people prefer not climbing up for about 30-40 feet in the day time.  Interesting they can climb up in the night time.
Back to this place, the food and service was quite unexpectedly good.  Nice potato leek soup, fresh chilled veggie on the salad, pan seared chicken thighs and charcoal grilled beef filet on a bed of lightly pan fried potato with a few drop of balsamic dressing.  The set lunch is at around HK$180-220.  Add HK$20 for a dessert.  Got a white choco cheese cake and double chocolate mousse. So good that it's bargain to pay just a little more.

Not so late. Posted this one at 11:30pm. Maybe something wrong with blogger. BTW, there has been some messed up time zone issue with a number of US web mail server, leading a lot of emails bounced back. Also, system paralysed. The internet and mobile network is no longer safe as before when it's being so accessible and widely used around the world.

Good to know we have some place to go at 1 am.
If the lunch set is available at this hour we can have the night snack.
