2012 Autumn review: The Grill Tokyo, Siam Paragon BKK

This place is one of my suggested eating agenda for friends I bring to eat around in BKK for the first time.  The purpose is to have a break from too many Thai hot and spicy food with something light at a reasonable price and a nice environment.  If I count back, only there was one time this place was a bit disappointing, 19 out of 20 times were all up above my expectation.  At this recent visit, the price has gone up by a further 15% (THB450 net for a 4 course meal lunch set, vs THB349 net for the same of 10 years ago).  No complaint since the food quality was kept up to its quality standard.

well only 15% price hike is modest, as inflation in Bangkok during the last 5 years accumulated to more than 50%. so Grill Tokyo's quality set lunch at THB 450 net is still one of the best value deal in Bangkok.

Yes this is a good place for J food in BKK.
The other one I like is the one in Thonglor(Yan Chi Long).

Yes, it's a very good bargain in considering the food quality nowadays.
