Our shared Garden

On an corner at the hillside in Cheung Sha Wan, there it is my most favourite (or every HK locals') bread/cake and cracker/biscuit maker. 生命麵包,時時食,忌廉賓, 孖寶蛋糕.... Making our breakfast and snack time very filling.

Oh thank you SEA for bringing back my memory. The Life Bread, the wafer biscuit, the "lai see" candy....that accompany us for so many years. I an still consuming the above in LA except the Life Bread.

My high school was in the same area. Used to skip school and play pool across the street from Garden.

Stella, the 2nd one is a 3 biscuit packing with cheese spread, choco., but I like the cheese one. It's very handy to eat it when you have a very short break. I think it's also the starting for individual packing that makes biscuits fresh. The 3rd one is a bread (after beef burger taking place in HK) with some cream in it. I like the peanut butter cream. So nice to have it as a breakfast. The last one is a cute mini cake good for 2 friends or a couple to share it.

Pixmation, I remember you took a photo outside a school in Cheung Sha Wan. So it should be around this area. :)

The high school was about 20 minutes walk from Garden building.

20 minutes walking is not that long distance then; may be 8 blocks.
Funny I don't see any bread or biscuits photo here in this post. The only photo I can see is the Garden Factory. No Life Bread, no "See See Sick", no Creamy Bun, no Twin Cake.......??
This is just the other day on TC's blog I cannot see the photo of the guessing of Beggar Chicken the first day.

May I have the name of your school (you can email me)? Is it near 李鄭屋村 (strange that Apple doesn't have the other "estate" Chinese character or I didn't find the alternate combination).

Stella, I stopped eating those snacks for a long time. Even life bread, I seldom take it now. Doesn't mean they are not good but just the timing.

Hi SEA,
You have too many choices of good food in HK and that is why no time for Garden snacks.
I still stay at the good old Garden days; tried to linger longer.......
This is my connection to my childhood and also my HK.
