Peking Duck by 大碗居 (Big Bowl House), Beijing, China

Just found out I didn't report these on my last trip in Beijing. Went to a Peking duck restaurant and ordered an all-in peking duck (seems like it's RMB118, appro. US$15). So they serve the whole duck in 3 cuts.

1. for the skin lovers. 2. for the meat lovers.

3. for the greedy lovers or balanced lovers. 4. This is it.

I like this restaurant and the price.
Yes this is the kind of Peking Duck being served in Beijing: thin skin without meat attached, and meat by itself.
I like the duck plate too, so cute.

Yes, it caters for each person's need. So there is no standard way of either skin, meat or both for the wrapping. However, still the Man Ho Chinese restaurant made an impressive one of this duck.

however, only Peking duck (and some soup perhaps), the rest in the Man Ho's menu r not eatable

that chef even deep fried the suckling pig, not slowly roasted

what happen to Man Ho now? no money to hire top CN chef from Hong Kong? then close the CN restaurant likes Grand Hyatt pls

Yes the Peking duck in Man Ho is super.
Also the one in Shang Palace was good too. And I like the half price.
Would like to eat again next time, hopefully.

har.. even non CN chef knows how to roast baby pig. OK, lets write to Man Ho and suggest them to run the Chinese restaurant as a deli for peking duck served as a snack. :)
