Old and wise, Ma Wan Village, Park Island, Hong Kong

When Park Island was modeled on Discovery Bay, the developer offered a low rise apt. to the native villagers for modernizing the whole island.
1. the low rise apt. are built on the other side of the island Ma Wan.
2. The locals still keep their festival traditions. See the flags.
3. These were where they used to live and now getting abandoned.
4. One sign stating "buying the shrimp paste".
5. A pond raising your own fish by a house. Interested?
6. See this classic balcony.
7. On the left is a typical name of a local store.
8. Too bad that I came here too late to try something exotic.
9. Some of them are still inhabited.

10. What a nice mansion.
