Madam Kwan's, basement (L1), Pavillion, Kuala Lumpur

Last time when I was here in Pavillion, it wasn't fully occupied with restaurants. Some of my favourite shops like Madam Kwan's, Dragon I and Crystal Jade have opened their branches here. It was 3pm when I was here and I couldn't help jumping in for a deep fried chicken thigh and a chendol. Turned out I ordered more than a snack - Kuay Teow and Fujian fried noodle. *I like the way they put the syrup on the side. That's why I only eat chendol here. Besides, their pandan mini jelly is very special with some burnt aroma. That took away the grass smell of pandan leaves that I really can't take it.

So you are in K.L. now.
I also had Malaysian food last Thur night with my Malaysian colleague. We had satay, "La Sa" soup noodle, friend chicken rice with coconut milk, Roti dipped in curry sauce, and the silk stocking milk tea. The La Sa noodle soup is too sour and too heavy in fish sauce. Ended up I had a stomach ache and throw up that night. I cannot take heavy fish sauce.
Good that I never throw up at any trip in BKK as the fish sauce in BKK not too heavy.
P.S. In fact feel so good after the throw up as long as I have the "Pak Far Oil".

Sorry hearing that you had a hard time from Lak Sa noodle. Actually I couldn't take lak sa. I think it's not the fish sauce. Lak sa is cooked in some shrimp head, shell and a lot of small fish, some coconut milk, and spice. I think your stomach can't digest it well. So together with the greasy roti and curry and all the other stir fried food, it's just too much for your stomach. If you take lak sa, you'd better take some steamed rice or plain noodle.

Thank you Sea for the suggestion.
Yes you are right, the food is very oily with heavy sauce but very delicious so I eat a lot.
Also milk tea is not good for my stomach.
Then I ate too early that day(6:30 pm instead of my regular dinner time after 8:30 pm).
So everything adds up.....
However, I like to throw up or have diarrhea once in a while if not too serious.

Double effect! You even took milk tea. That's even worse.
