Mauve/Aromas/Aaqu, restaurants & lounge, Radisson Suites Sukhumvit BKK

All these restaurants are located next to the lobby and also on the entrance of the hotel on the soi 13 Sukhumvit. The deco. is pretty comfortable in general. The food is at average but their service is impressive. When my friends and I arrived at around 10pm and asked when they closed, they were happily greeting us for a table while they replied the restaurants were closing. Actually because of us, they need to turn on the oven again for the pizza. So we didn't blame the pizza wasn't baked well. The 3 dishes (pizza, pasta carbonara & pad Thai) shown here is just at a total bill cost of around THB700. Not bad at all.

for their desire to serve and nice service, mediocre food became gourmet ..

That is why I like BKK so much as people and waiters are nice in general. Even when they are closing they still serve you. This is something we lack here.

By the way, the 3 dishes here have the Old Town Pasadena look.

P.S. Are these old pictures or you are in BKK again?

Yes, that's what would draw us back or at least when we are around here and want a comfortable place for a drink and snack.
SS, Old Town Pasadena look? I need to check with Pixmation.. :) I'm not in BKK nor HK right now. Answer will be on tomorrow night. :)

OK, I will wait to see where you are faithfully.
BTW, please tell Pixmation there is one Italian Restaurant on Fair Oaks called Gale's. The pizza and pasta look like those from your post here.
The dessert is also good.
Tell him it is right across Saladang Thai Restaurant that he knows of.
Thank you Sea.

My favorite Italian restaurant in Pasadena is Celestino on Lake Ave.

Thank you Pixmation.
I never been to that one on Lake.
Will quickly view your blog now as I was thinking where to bring my friend this Friday night for her Birthday.

Thanks.

Ah... it's pretty close to Trader's Joe. I also noticed Soup Plantation changed to Soup Plantation & Sweet Tomatoes. I miss it though it's not the best.

Ha, I didn't know the name change at all. Haven't been there for ages.

Wow Sea, you know more about Pasadena than me.
I did not even notice Soup Plantation has changed its name.
That Trader Joe on Lake is big with lots of snacks, 2 times bigger than the one one block from my house.
Got to try Pixmation's recommendation with my colleagues soon.

Google google for the map and nearby places. Just to get an idea where the place is near. BTW, I heard from my business associates that there is a chance HK passports can get a US visa exemption, after Taiwan's get it.

Stella said...

This is good news.
So no more excuse for HK people not to come to US any more due to visa process.

But there are some other reasons people still don't wanna go to US....

I don't blame them.
