This beach is much better than Patong. At least it's not that "service" soliciting like "massage, massage... satay, satay... parasail parasail...". I guess it's probably due to the clientele that such high end resorts are around this area, like Twin Palms, Arasia hilltop, and even some 4 star resort like Courtyard and the one I stay Manathai. Actually, supposed I wanna try Phuket Pavillions but it's full. The other one is The Chedi, but also full.
1/2. Phuket at good weather season is indeed very busy, bringing quite a fortune for this Pearl of the Andaman Sea.
3. Even though there are still some water activities, those are quite subtle. 4. Not sure if it's legal in Thailand, some women went topless. However, the others wouldn't take it as a scene but rather pay respect to them and take it as something natural.
5. The Chedi is on another corner of Surin beach - quite secluded. 6. view from the sea.
