Dragon I, Noodle Shop, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Been to this noodle and pork dumpling soup quite several times when I visited Kuala Lumpur. It tuned out to be a nice surprise.

1. Tan Tan Noodle - the soup base is nice and the hot/spicy peanut sauce is in quite a good balance. Besides, the peanuts were roasted and crushed so that it did give the soup a nice peanut aroma. 2. Chilled cucumber - not bad and quite close to what I tasted in Beijing.

3. smoked fish - a typical Shanghai food and my favourite. This one is nice and freshly made. 4. Chicken in soaked in wine sauce. The wine sauce is pretty nice.

Yes, something like scent, taste and sound are quite sensitive to human brain. Once we get impressed with certain taste, scent and sound, our brain would put that memory in the "hard disk" of our brain, not "ram" of our brain. Unless we "reformat" our brain, such memory will still be there. Just like some old people, if you give them something they were impressed in their younger time, like a song, like a special dessert, like a unique fragrance, they will be freshened up like a child.
