Miso, Japanese restaurant, Jardine House, Hong Kong

Miso, a Japanese restaurant (under MAX Concept), in Jardine House. Was first introduced by my sister 4 years ago and it was quite a pleasant experience.

1. tuna hand roll/salmon roll - HK$40@. We were warmly reminded of eating this one immediately as the dried sea weed will get soft quickly. Good service. 2. Should have opened it for a better view. However, I kind of like this setting as no one can tell it's a soup. HK$55.

3. stir fried veggie - HK$48. Not sure if the Chef forgot the salt and pepper for this teppenyaki stir fried. It's almost no salty taste at all. 4. crab roe salad - HK$55. Pretty good.

5. beef noodle - HK$68. The soup base is quite nice, but the noodle texture is not too good. A bit too soft. 6. Sushi sampler - HK$198. In general, all are good except that mackerel one I personally don't like it much, and not even to tell if it's good.

7. As the crab roe salad is quite nice. We ordered another salad - seafood salad. Also good! HK$55. 8. creme brulee with a slice of sugar-coated crispy ginger on a scoop of rose petal ice cream - HK$48. Nice ice cream and a nice touch of rose.

food presentation is good, taste cannot tell, but price is double compare to Bangkok; however when GDP considered, it is a good deal in HK

The taste is quite ok, especially the salad. The teppanyaki stir fried veggie is quite disappointing though.

Have to agree that the prices are pretty reasonable for a restaurant in Central district. What was the dressing they used for the crab roe salad? The food looks absolutely yummy-licious!

Planning to go to Dragon I, Mid Valley on Monday. Have a nice weekend!

I think the price in this restaurant is expensive for Thai standard but cheap for HK standard, provided the high quality of this restaurant and food as shown.
This is also the average price in J restaurant here in LA.

Android, the crab roe salad is with their home made mayonaise dressing. Ok, please let me know how you think. I will try to find that noodle and re-post here. :) Actually I noticed quite many Japanese go there. So you can tell from it.
