Ocean Front Pool Villa, The Sarann, Koh Samui, Thailand

Dropped by this place on the last Phuket trip and the weather was a bit better than Phuket.
1/2. You can order your breakfast to your room and enjoy your fruit juice and omelette by your own private pool side.

3. the pastry/4. the scramble egg.

5. the omelette/6. see the variety of the fruit and how it's shaped.. :)

7. after the breakfast, why don't you pamper yourself in the floating bed. 8. or reading a book...

9. or simply walk around the front yard. 10. or take a view to your room.

11/12. this pool is quite big as compared to other villas - 3x7m. Usually it's 3x5m.

13. what a view. 14. the hotel is built on the rocky area of the beach.

15/16. the bed room is with a view to the pool and the sea front. What a view in the morning and evening.
17. view to the villa.

The pool is very nice and quite big. we can see from the 2 floating beds and there is some space. Where is it and how much is this kind of room?

I guess this is at least $600 US per night for this kind of set up and quality.
Am I right Sea?

Very good villa room. I like the breakfast too. Looks very tasty. This place may be in Krabi because its close to Phuket and also on the other side of the sea of photo 1, there are some islands. Looks like islands outside of Krabi.

SS, at the low season period, this room is at a rate of THB7,500 (around US$220). Peak season charge is at around THB11,000. Tempted?

Actually I kind of like this place. It's just in the middle of Gulf of Thailand and its western part of Thailand mainland has blocked the extreme south westerly monsoon wind from May to Sept in the Andaman Sea/Indian Ocean - such monsoon has brought heavy rain in the southern part of Thailand. So even in the so-called low season, it is still pretty sunny. So I guess someone may know where this place is if they know the geography of Thailand.

hahaha nice seaside somewhere in Ao Thai (Gulf of Thailand)

the British style all-day-breakfast looks really tempting

Wow, so the rate is only half of my $600 guess, which is too good to be true. The price, amenities, set up, style and quality of this hotel tops all high end hotels in Hawaii's Maui, Oahu and Big Island, and no need to mention about LA. No wonder Thailand is really the paradise in Asia. I think Thailand is the paradise in the whole world. Hawaii is good but they don't have this kind of hotel. And if they do the price may be $800 for this equivilent. Also, Hawaii does not really have all the good food that Thailand provides.

P.S. Sea, I am amazed you can tell I was the one who did the guess.

This place will be re-posted again with all the other room types. I like this resort pretty much. SS, there are many similar nice resorts in Thailand. Hua Hin, Phuket and Koh Samui have quite a lot of nice resorts with private pool villa. I hope I can visit as many of them as possible. Too good to be true.

You are right Mr. Sea. We like your thorough reports of all these nice resorts here so that at least we can get a "feel" although we cannot go.

I hope I can report more and more, especially for other parts of Thailand. Thanks for the support.

Very good price for this kind of resort room. I checked on the package and the price is HK$5,600 for 2 + 2 free night including air ticket. For sure will try this one. Thanks for the post.

Anonymous 11:56am, I guess that's the wincastle package as you mentioned 2+2 but the room availability quota for each tour operator is quite limited; so they may get back to you "the room is full and what about....". So if possible, I would advise you to book tickets and hotels separately. I have been quite fed up with those ticket/hotel package and almost 80% chance that I can't get what I want.
