Rewind to 3rd Sept., 2010 - a day of hide and seek, BKK

I have been asked why I didn't made some postings after the trip. The answer is "stretching a good memory to a longer record for recalling and recalling.". Whenever we feel much too busy from our hectic city life, we would take this good memory as a refreshment.

Planning for a party to get someone a surprise is really not my talent. First, I'm not that a festival or celebration day person. I often miss many of my friends' birthdays. In taking a good opportunity, I took part in a surprise party for our cheerful leader in BKK. So the difficulty is even more when we were playing a game in a territory which is not ours.

Whenever the Sawadee Mouse wasn't around us, we started discussing our plan A, B, C & D. Whatever plan it is, the problem is that we wouldn't do that naturally. Besides, my limited Thai further restrained our scope of plans. Those 3 days really made our heads BIG BIG BIG.

So in the afternoon after our dinner from China House, Mr. Mouse tried to surprise me by getting something that I shouldn't know by taking his break from our on route journey to Siam Paragon for the tea break. There it went the perfect moment for our plan X. We decided to go to Lenotre for a birthday cake and brought that over to Kabuki. The excitement actually started from the Saphan Taksin BTS station. Our eye bright Mr. Trainer told he saw Mr. Mouse when the train door was closing. We blamed Mr. Trainer for his dizzy eyes since it's no way for Mr. Mouse to be that quick to catch us back in a few minutes.

After we got to Lenotre, we spent some time to choose which cake is perfect. First it has to be not that sweet and second it'd be some dark choco. While we were choosing the cakes, we also needed to "watch water" (alert watching) if Mr. Mouse would be around. So the group brought the cake to Kabuki and there we booked a table for the dinner and asked the receptionist about our surprise birthday cake. Since we couldn't loose a clue for Mr. Mouse on why we booked the table, when we were asked under what name we booked the table, there it went (without a 1/1000 second) "Flora". All of us got stunned "what", so was "Flora's" son. He had a big big question mark on his face "what? my mom's name is Flora?". We then wondered how many secret jobs Flora has - another FBI, CIA?

Then we left Kabuki for walking across to MO Deli cafe. Wow... we saw Mr. Mouse's walking into the shop. Our heart beats went crazy like kids got found of having stolen candy. The most interesting thing is that the 2 more mature Flora and I ran away from the scene like speeding rabbits. The calmest person is Chris who woke us up "Why do you run? We finish our job and we can walk in like we just run into him.".

So when we chatted about the dinner, we indirectly had Kabuki on the spot and besides, it rained heavily outside. That made kabuki a perfect choice. When we arrived at Kabuki, the receptionist noticed us but then they called "ok Flora, 5 persons, please.". Wow.. my heart beat bumped up again, while holding from not laughing out. Then most of us turned back to the other side of the entrance, with our heads down like praying... Somehow we were led to a very nice individual room. We still kept silent for not showing we booked the room under Flora's name.

There we finished our nice dinner, from good curry to delicious bento. At that time, Flora mentioned "I'll go out for the menu.". Mr. Mouse immediately pressed the button "no need to go out. Just call for service.". So we exchanged our eye signals. Mr. Trainer and I slided the door behind and wondered what should be next. So in a few minutes Flora mentioned about going to the rest room. Apparently Flora got it and told the Kabuki's staff to prepare for the cake. Then Mr. Mouse thought it's time for the bill. All of a sudden, the room's light was off. The surprise came in! A nice Lenotre cake was brought in and we had our birthday greeting song. Finally we got you Mr. Mouse! There we had a very nice birthday surprise and fun time. Thanks to Flora, Chris and Mr. Trainer for every detail of our planning!

Yes this was so fun. Everything in fact was done and planned in short minutes and yet it looked so well planned.
Every time when I think about this in bed at night I am smiling at heart and others don't know why I am smiling to myself.
I really thank you SEA and Mr Trainer for your cooperation. Without you guys this won't be that fun. We are like the three Pink Panthers while Chris is like a cool cop and the birthday boy did not know what is going on while sneaking out to buy us some surprise moon cake and did not know we used that chance to counter-surprise him too. Ha ha ha this fun. Thank you all for your cooperation and the opportunity.

Sorry for the late reply as I spent much time on win 7 and its touch screen . Really don't wanna touch window platform anymore.

I think that is the most surprising and fun birthday party we have had. Well, let's see for the next year. We will go straight forward for a simple party. Anyway, if the restaurant turns off the light, don't think it's another surprise party. It's a real power out.

Yes, pixmation, we really have to have you in our party too. It's not just about eating but also lots of surprises.

Yes SEA. Next year the big surprise will be no surprise. Ha ha ha.
Yes what is a Win 7? Lottery? Jackpot?

I still need to get involved with Windows for business and other stuff. Win 7 has too many underlying auto-update or authenticating stuff that makes those fast i5/i7 CPU work like the dual core CPU, or even slower.

The mac is only for personal entertainment. :)

Oops.. Stella, you commented simultaneously on my comment too. Win 7 is the new Window platform and the new feature of the premium version has the touch screen function, but those touch screen can't work well. You need to have your movement slow like 5cm per second. Then about 1cm edge along the screen, it's the blind area for touch screen. What's more, Win 7 has bugs with my HP printer (released last year). Lots of bugs... and lots of updates and fixings.. As those authenticating stuff is auto-locked, you need to wait and wait.... 等...寂寞到夜深...

thanks for sharing, i want a i5, but don't want WIN 7; so far WIN XP still the best in many ways, at least no forced update and authenticating stuffs ..
