Ta Krai, Thai restaurant of JW Marriott Khao Lak, SW Thailand

This Thai restaurant is a bit lower than my expectation. Dishes are pretty salty or sweet. The good thing is that when I asked for less spicy, it's really not that spicy. I think I made a mistake in asking so, in considering this is a resort Thai restaurant that the chef should be more cautious in reducing the spicy level.

some farangs can eat very spicy la, like our friend from France, Michel .. at Smooth Curry of Plaza Athenee, he was the only one who finished the tom-yum-chao-lay soup (not one drop left), and he said it is normal spiciness, OMG!

I recall that some of my local Thai friends can't take spicy food while some foreign visitors can take triple spicy, even the Taiwanese spicy hot pot for "devil hot degree".

So it is JW Marriott week lately.

There is a Lemongrass Thai Restaurant inside Aria Hotel in Vegas. We tried last year. Pretty food but it is Blue Elephant price with average level. The meal costs us $200 US with party of 7(3 are my customers meeting in Vegas. Good that I had eating credit of $100 from Aria.

Actually they serve Evian (but moderately priced for a big glass bottle at just THB160).
SS, the meal for two is about THB1,500.
