Another Bermuda guide for Thailand's Best Hotels 2011

Dropped by a book store and picked up a Thai travel magazine called Lifestyle and Travel (*remarks - not the int'l known Travel and Leisure, or Lifestyle). As it has a Thailand's Best Hotel guide 2011 as a premium package, I got curious to pay HK$50 to get one.
My amazing journey goes. To name a few, I found out on the BKK page, Dream Hotel was listed, and President Palace too (others like Menam Riverside). We need to check the title "best". Certainly we can't judge what the best means from each one's perspective, but as posted earlier here about Dream Hotel, it's good when you on a solitary trip don't want to be too "lonely" since you can hear your next door room guest talking, watching TV or snoring...etc.
Then on the Phuket section, Royal Paradise was listed. I would personally consider the best of this hotel to be those rooms on higher floors are very good for people who have a phobia of tsunami. The hotel was quite run down and the neighbouring area is quite uninviting.
Ok, the irresponsible mistake is on the page of Koh Samui, Ranyatavi resort Phang Nga was listed in Koh Samui. This resort is on Latai beach, about 1km north of Aleenta Phang Nga (Phuket). It takes 50 minutes by plane to go from Phuket to Koh Samui, from Andaman Sea to Gulf of Thailand. I would guess the writer wouldn't find out where the hotel exactly is but simply refer it to the hotel name as with "Phang Nga" whereas Koh Phang Nga is very close to Koh Samui.
At this point, we may need to contact the hotel for the actual location if it's a new destination, or simply ask the hotel for pick up service.
At last, you may say the problem is not on the book. It's on me. Why should I buy it? :) Curiosity killed the money.

I think I should write to them about mis-locate the resort on photo 5. If some people treats that in Koh Samui, it would be a big trouble for them.
Right, it's apparently quite advertorial and that's why they shouldn't mis-locate that resort. That resort may consider to claim some liability from that publisher.
