My local friends told me they have suffered a very high living cost in Singapore. This visit at a food court can tell. Photo 1: Kuay Tiew (stir fried noodle) S$8 (medium portion) (equil. to US$6.5). Was about S$4-5. Photo 2: Stir fried turnip cake (veg.) S$6 (US$5), was S$3-4. These 2 dishes are at average.

good so they can hv a diet body!
Price not that high.
Just similar to HK and US.
SS, the portion is pretty small and this is a food court meal. FYI, even Crystal Jade in SG is charging double more expensive than HK.
Har double priced than HK and yet only half as good?
Oh yes the portion is so small here. At first I thought you forgot to take picture until you eat half. In lA even after I eat half the portion is still bigger than the above.
Double fitness too.
Yes big portion one meal; small portion still one meal.
