Well, a thousand worst things would have one good thing coming out at least. The Cafe does offer some pretty good food on a-la-carte. Besides, the moon cakes of Mei Jiang is better than China House (Sorry Flora, I have to say it).
1. the cafe - the deco is so so. Somehow they put all the guests in one corner. We can't go to the other tables. They want more noise at one selected area, probably. 2. the iced coffee is at average.
3. Fried rice is nice and quite selective rice. Also pretty good stir frying technique. 4. Pad thai. Pretty good too.
5. club sandwich. I asked for a German rye bread. It's pretty good and they use some vinegar dressing in it, quite a match to the bread. Most of all, the potatoes are very nice. 6. the entrance.

Glad to hear at least something good at Peninsula other than the Boat.
I agree with you the moon cake at Peninsula is good. Mickey bought me the small moon cake and it is so good. Chris and I finished it all the next day.
Flora
the moon cakes were supposed a gift to Dick ..
Yes, at least something good, but at most my 2 days turned out as something worse than the 3 year and 8 month Japanese occupation in HK during WW II. :)
