1. Even after check-out, I still got annoyed with the way Peninsula BKK handling my luggage. They just put a staple tape on the luggage note on my luggage tag. Any 2-3 star hotels wouldn't do it in such an unprofessional way, as it's easy to be detached and your luggage wouldn't be mixed up with the others. So if you consider to try this Peninsula BKK, you need to have your own luggage tag. See why I said this is not a hotel. 2. Another dangerous trap. You would have fallen into this stream (about 2 feet deep) easily as it's not without any curd. At night time, no light on it. I almost fell into it.
3/4. My friend asked me why this pool is one lane as on the 2nd pic., you would see it's quite wide. Well, if you walk down to it and as you may see, there are steps on the 2 sides. So the only area you can swim is actually the middle narrow section (about 3 feet wide). So if someone swims towards you, you can't swim on the opposite direction. Even in the same direction, you can't swim faster than him or slower than the one following you. :)

Yes, the pool is designed in a stupid way. Only goods look from Normandie side with no practical function of the pool.
Positive thinking:
1) This is the one-of-a-kind unforgettable experience.
2) This makes your other stays relatively pleasant even at 3 or 4-star ones, no need to talk about MO.
