Premier Room, Jumeirah Himalaya Hotel Shanghai

When this hotel was first opened in Shanghai this April, it aroused quite some noise as it marked the first landmark for Jumeirah group to step in Asia. The hotel room is in quite a Chinese design and very spacious. This premier room is even so much more spacious, with an individual working area, a living room and 2 queen size beds. The bath room is in a nice bright design. Overall, it's the best hotel I have ever tried in China.

Especially I like the way they make the couch area lighter than the TV area. Not many hotels have notice this important thing. If we watch TV, we need to have our sitting area brighter and the TV area dimmer. It's good for our eyes not to be stimulated by those strong light from the TV area while we can watch TV clearly as that area is dimmer. That's some little things people may not notice but it is something really big to me.

The Illy coffee is even of some very high grade. The tea is very refined too. :)

I think Sea does not need to wait for 30 years; he can start being a part time hotel inspector or consultant now.
