上海磁浮機場快線 - Shanghai Magnetic Levitation Airport Express train

It takes 7 minutes from Shanghai Pudong Int'l Airport to Long Yang Road 龍陽路 of Pudong (appro. 45km), at a speed of 300km per hour. The cost is RMB50 for one way and RMB80 for roundtrip. The train was quite comfortable and steady, and good for those who doesn't have heavy luggage and connect to other subway lines at Long Yang Road.

yes, this is called express train, a real express train ..

shame that Bangkok's Airport Rail Link Express Line, snail's pace, expensive, long waiting time, bad service and inconvenience connection ..

few days ago, the former (just been removed) transport permanent secretary is a victim of a burglary break in, burglars took 200 millions baht of cash from his house (from a closet in his bedroom), and burglars (later 4 were caught) claimed that there is more money there, they just couldn't move all of the money in the closet as they did not prepare enough bags and vehicle, the burglars themselves were shocked when they saw so much money in a private residence, the house of a civil servant .. amazing Thailand isn't it!

honest US civil servants, interested to apply for a government post in Thailand? oops u need to be a good actor in nature ..

Ha... snail's pace? No wonder my friends ran late to meet us up in the airport when they claimed they took the Airport express.
Sigh... so that means the banks of BKK may not have enough "cash" as people store cash at home. An alternate way for those "cash" people to withstand the economy crisis. :)
