Tried booking this room at a very popular web site and the room rate was THB1,799net, but somehow that website Asian sub-office replied so rude that I decided to book the hotel directly. There the hotel offered a rate at THB1,279net (incl. ABF but I forgo the ABF). Right now, BKK has lots of bargain hotels. Get ready! My personal recommendation is the package of CX with Marriott Vista Sathorn at HK$2,100 for 3 nights at 1 bed room suite (I've checked their room - superb and they have a salty water swimming pool.).

very cheap and the room is not bad. no need to think the $999 sale tour.

Is the location convenient?
I prefer to stay at a hotel we can walk out to get food/coffee/shops even without TC, such as the Thonglor location, or the first time Center Point location.
I don't think the remote area with nothing around the hotel.
24 hour fitness, after 24 hour McCafe and 24 hour supermarket... I think we break our ancestors' law and go back to primitive. The latest scientific research revealed that human being's brain used to function 24 hours but our ancestors (of course 20k to 50k years ago) felt nothing to do at night time as it's too dark, and therefore resting at night time. So resting became sleeping. That's how we were having the habit of sleeping. Oops.. I don't mean we should practise now because we are now adapted to the living/sleeping pattern.
Stella, I actually don't prefer to stay in this area since there aren't many nice restaurants nearby. We need to go to either the river side or Thonglor. I was just curious to try it due to the 60% off. Well, stay at MO or Marriott Vista Sathorn. Someone would give you a nice surprise soon.
To Anonymous, the wool comes from sheep. Unless you wanna go visit some crocodile product factory, jewel shop on purpose to buy something with marked up prices.

I like the hotel being located at a convenient location like Thonglo so that we can walk out freely for coffee, food, shopping when TC is resting or busy.
I don't want TC being tied up with us every single minute.
Don't worry. Every corner has a food stall or restaurant. We should go try different areas.
yes almost every area has good food to offer, except this area where FuramaXclsuive Sathorn sited, very danger area, very dark at night, and no decent restaurant at all
Let us forget about those dark, dangerous or remote areas.
Also please don't consider any place like Somerset Hotel we stayed one time, it is in the middle of no where.
Location and convenience is important determinant.
Yes, It's very interesting. Just one road difference, the whole scene is very different.
BTW, my friends incl. our beloved Angel stayed at Trinity hotel (now called Glow) opposite to this Furamaxclusive met some supernatural friends. They saw the furniture moving like what's in the movie Poltergeist. Furthermore, Angel saw a big black shadow flying to her in bed.
Then on real encountering, this area is also very "professional". More than that, there are "professional" ladies, "professional" men, "professional grannies", "professional" babies.... :)
