Mistaken check-in

1. Check on the last four lines "we cannot offer their use as a general taxi service". It's not nice to assume the guests (paying US$250-1,000 for a room or villa) to treat the golf cart like taxi. BTW, we need to wait for the cart and go point by point to pick up other guests. So the golf cart takes 7-8 people - very cozy to have 3 guests sitting together in a row of just 3 feet wide and we are hip to hip (very warm too). Interesting that there are lots of golf carts. I can say it's like taking the mini-bus in HK for stopping at some points to wait for full load of passengers (小巴等客滿).
2. I notice the security guards need to stand in the rain with an umbrella in open area. Their pants and shoes are all wet. No sheltered stations for them. For god's sake, they are also human. Don't treat staff like slaves. This is the 21st century, not 18/19th.

3. Finally I read this this morning. Check the last sentence "management team who can speak French, English, German, Spanish and even Swedish". I guess I checked in a wrong place. No wonder they don't feel like talking to me but underneath they know how to take my money. If it's in Europe, of course they should put that and I would well respect that. This place is in Asia. Wake up please.

Improvement?

Do we pay $1,000 a night just to aide and wait for their improvement?

This resort shouldn't been there in the first place if it is not ready; or the managers should pack if they are not capable and versatile.

Well, inside the pool villa, it's a heaven indeed. Outside to the restaurant and or taking a golf cart ride is like another world.

BTW, finally tonight I noticed only one villa (ours) has the entrance light (there are 60 villas here and now all dark, no one is in). So we occupy the whole hill slope. We also noticed the people staying here only stays for 1-2 nights. We see some new faces every other morning. Tonight the lower section restaurant only has 2 tables with guests including mine, and it's 7-8pm. The good thing is that it's a very tranquil resort.

Well, even though it's rainy season here, when I checked the resorts nearby, those were with more guests than this one.
