Blue sky - south west monsoon wind, July to September

Wind from the South China Sea clears up the sky of HK. The below photo was taken on the ride of the Stone Cutter bridge.

I heard HK is very hot recently. But LA is quite cool for July(10 degree below the normal July).
My heater is automatically on each morning.

The photo is on. Strike again? LA, especially some inland like Pasadena towards east, is a dessert climate. Very hot in day time and cool in night time.

I don't see the photos at all. Only your 3 comments here.
Yes, LA is very extreme in terms of temperature.
It can be easily 30 degrees different everyday.
So during early morning(5 Am to 8 AM) my heater is on, and during the PM air condition is on.
