Opus, Italian restaurant, Pan Road, Silom, Bangkok

Brought to here for a refreshing Italian dinner.
1. Grissini. 2. Olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

3/4. the table setting.

5. bread basket. Nice tomato bread and herb bread with raw salt. 6. cold cut platter. Very nice cold cut and assorted salami. Nice cheese too.
7. A plain pizza. Good! 8. Super strong lobster bisque. Very lobster and a bit too strong.

9. In some way, the minestrone is better than lobster bisque this time as it's lighter and more natural. 10. warm seafood salad. Not bad. Mussels are a bit small and local but don't mind it as long as it's fresh enough. See only some lemon juice to go with fresh seafood. No need to be too complicated for fresh ingredients, but it's dangerous if it's not too fresh then.

11. Spaghetti with clams/basil. Again it's very authentic. Too much olive oil to me. 12. Mushroom risotto. Quite nice.

13. Lemon sorbet and vanilla ice cream. Pretty nice and refreshing. 14. Choco. ice cream in lemon cello wine. I prefer this one. Not too alcoholic but very nice wine aroma.
15. Tiramisu. Lovely. 16. the entrance.
17. the shop.

the cold cut platter is the best in town!

Oooh! On of my favourite hangouts downtown. Prices reasonable and great wines too.

before the good hangouts was Vino (now sucks), now ppl go to Opus following manager Alex, well he deserves customers loyalty as he really understand service, and wine of course

This place also looks fancy and cozy.

Choco ice cream in Limoncello had me intrigued. I have not tried that before.

Android, you really need to try that choco ice cream in Limoncello. I don't drink but I love it.

Stella, their tiramisu is very tempting. If you like cold cut, this is the one.

Android, so u should blame Alex not telling u about this to-die-for dessert, simple chocolate ice cream in a common limoncello became sinfully good

Yes, it's a to-die-for. Lots of good food awaiting.

Yes SEA,
I do like Tiramisu and I do like cold cut, especially if this is not expensive.

Sea, remember that snobbish Library Samui? executive chef of Opus join with other 5 artists and chefs (from USA and Singapore) to hold a 6 months arts cum culinary promotion there, so who is cooking at Opus kitchen now?

Seems like you are telling someone that I know. :)
