Glad to see this branch open in Central World. It took the area which was taken by Kabuki (gone during the red raging fire of last year). The shop is in a very pleasant decoration but somehow the chairs and the table are not user friendly - too low and the table's legs too inconvenient. As when we sat down, a very interesting drink caught our attention. Check photo 2. It's a herb drink with 2 types of mint, some flower and Thai herb. It was claimed to cure "insomnia, digestion, depression, heart disease, liver, kidney, headache, stomachache...etc.". Out of curiosity, and as it's just THB75 for a big pot, why not be a "lab rabbit". Turned out it's very pleasant and the mint and herb made you feel happy because your stomach feel warmed up and so you feel you don't get tightened up.
The food in general is quite nice. I somehow prefer the shop on the first floor of Emporium. For example, this shop (and many others) just boiled the prawns and stir fired with the Pad Thai. The one at Emporium would grill the prawn first and then stir fired. This one little step would make it a whole lot different.

the khao soi (one of my beloved noodles) is almost worst of any i hv been tasted
but the ox tongue is heart disease friendly, not salty, no Maggie .. good!
i think this place is good for eyes cruising while drinking the herbal tea with a piece of cake, but not the place for a meal ..
My other local friends often ordered the roti and green curry at this shop and we all agree the branch on 1st floor of Emporium is still better than all the others. My sisters like their chicken and prawn salad in mango sauce dressing. :)
