Though the resort wasn't full (about 40% occupancy rate due to quite a no. of studios being renovated as they were built quite some years ago), the restaurant still keeps its buffet at a high quality. Fresh fruit juices, nice coffee, fine preserve from Sri Lanka, nice bread (served warmed after you picked them), house made yoghurt and museli/cereal, various hot food and 10 choices of fresh fruits. This simply reminds me of the breakfast of MO BKK (in 2006/07). A happy breakfast marks a new happy day to begin with!

u must be kidding, or did u bring ur team of chefs there to cook for u?
this is the buffet breakfast in the middle of an ocean? OMG, u made me envy, and shall make those 5-star in Bangkok feel ashamed, oops maybe they know no shame in nature, those chefs and executive chefs and f&b directors only care for their salaries!
Almost as good as the one at MO-BKK although MO is still the best of the best.
This time is Amazing Maldives. mouth watering. I like the apple traiangle.
Correct. When I looked at their variety of fresh fruits, from lychee (sweet nice one, not those frozen or canned), longan, to apricot, I wonder how they can keep those fruits so fresh and it's in the middle of a big wide ocean.
SS, MO is in BKK, a super cosmo. city with easy and efficient transportation. They don't even have such a wide fruit selection.
Anonymous, yes, it's really amazing. :)
Yes, considering this hotel in in the middle of the ocean and yet still can provide so many fresh fruits and it is better than MO-BKK in fact.
Do they have an egg station etc there? I'm debating whether to return to W Maldives or try Niyama? All breaks down to the food!
Tennille H, at that time of my stay, they did have an egg station. About the restaurants, I'd recommend you to try Velassaru.
