Pure Dining, Pure Fitness, Soho, Central HK

After I sat down and looked at the menu, I hesitated if I should simply order just a drink. The menu emphasized on the calorie, low fat/sodium...etc. on each item. Can't say it's not right as it's a subsidiary restaurant of a fitness center. Hope it's not another True fitness cafe. Turned out it's a little better than True fitness. If the veggie is a bit more chilled in the Caesar's salad and if the pizza dough can be more tender but crispy, though some low fat salad dressing and low fat sausage were used, these 2 dishes can be more appealing.

pizza shouldn't be served in a diet-design restaurant in the first place, so this Pure is just a gimmick; the management just care if u sign more hours for their personal trainers and join more classes, etc.

I think the pizza here is more healthy since not too oily.
They want you to have some pizza so that you can join more exercise classes after the pizza.
Kind of "get the ghost in and then get the ghost out".

Actually this place is intended for drinks. See that chicken - it's a vacuum packed cold meat. If it's not the coupon I had, I wouldn't come here for a meal.
SS, if there is a coach or PT told you that pizza for an exercise to keep fit, you should walk away. Normally for weight loss, eat some low sugar fruits before the meal and no carbo. food 2 hours after the workout. If you wanna gain weight and muscle, eat some carbo/protein/veggie 1 hour after the workout.

I have eaten here a few times and not everything on the menu is meant to be heatlhy and low fat.I don't think they are trying to be a "fitness cafe" or a diet designed restaurant as you guys think. They have some heatlhy dishes but also many not so heatlhy for example the pizza. I think there truffled mac and cheese is one of the best in HK

So it seems even to gain weight needs to exercise and work out too.

Thanks Gloria for the note. I guess I ordered a wrong dish then, as the pizza does taste like some low fat cheese used.
SS, without exercise, but eating more, your body will get something harmful, cholesterol, fat, heart problem...etc.
