In BKK without going to Siam, Sukhumvit and Silom

Originally planned an excursion trip for 3 days to Phuket or Samui but the flights were amazingly full regardless of rainy season. Then decided to try Praya Palazzo (the north west riverside of BKK) and so to take the opportunity of checking around the north west part of BKK. Didn't feel like going to Siam, Sukhumvit or Silom/Sathorn area. Those few days were quite pleasant for me to see something not so hectic, not so complicated, not so glamourous..... The most frequent transport for me is the boat which once played an important role in the early days of Bangkok, and still remains as the cheapest and reliable transport along the river and canals.

It's good to carry your camera and capture something around you along the riverside. :)

This looks like New Territory 20 years ago.
Good that there is a place we can go back to the future.

SS, if in your memory, that means it looks like 40 years ago... :)
