Banff, Rocky Mountain, Alberta, Canada

These photos were taken by my good friend Flora who took a trip with her family to Banff, Rocky Mountain in Canada's Alberta province. The best season going there is in between June to August but of course the hotel and air ticket is double expensive. Once you get there, you would find the expensive cost worth it! Thanks Flora for sharing these nice photos! Seeing the mountain reminded me of a song "Four Strong Wind" by Neil Young as the lyrics mentioned about these Rocky mountain.

1/2. This hotel by the lake is extremely expensive, considering the hotel's water and power system being environmentally considerate.

3. Ain't it a paradies! 4. We should treasure these....

5/6. Note the calm surface of the lake

7/8. So spectacular!

Nice photos of Banff. Banff is famous of its tranquility and the scenic view.
This is a popular domestic vacation destination for US people. However, we cannot go there due to its elevation.

Yes, the elevation is quite a problem. My colleague went to Yuan Nan (south west of China) and it's around 4-5000 feet high. Most of the people feel very tired on the trip.

You need to have a good lung to travel here.
My son fainted when we took the aerial tram at Palm Spring and then he was hospitalized(becuase he has asthma)for 7 days.(he got pneumonia out of this).
Palm Spring's elevation is not even that high though.
The doctor told us for those with weak lung or weak health, don't go above 3,000 ft to be safe.

Yes, it's true for those who are of weak health or weak lung, they should avoid going to high elevation places. My Beijing friend told me that she and her friends went to Tibet, the stronger the person is, the weaker they would feel at such a high elevation place. It's because the bigger person needs more oxygen.
