Tsimshatsui East, Kowloon

Went to see a client from NYC at his hotel in TST East this afternoon. So I had to take some photos of this place where it used to be very popular in the 80's.
1. this water fountain is the symbol of TST East. 2. Peninsula Center.

3. used to come here for some industry meetings. 4. Regal Hotel still there.
5. Empire Center.
6. this freeway links TST to Hung Hom.
7. Do you remember all those scenes of movies back in the 80's?
8. Hotel Nikko - their buffets were once talk of the town.

9. Forgot the original hotel name but now it's under Inter-Continental. Was once called Stanford Harbour View. 10. This building reminded us of Little Sweet....

Wow... correct, I almost forget that one. There are some nice restaurants I guess we used to go there a long long time ago, like the Japanese restaurant in Hotel Nikko and of course the renowned Shang Palace of Shangrila.

Yes I almost see this #7 every week from Jade Channel oldie movies.
Yes there are some oldie TV series in the 80's at night such as "Chong Site Kee". But of course we have more recent series too such as "Ka Ho Yuet Yuen" and "Chu Kwong Bo Hey" too.
