Mayan Enigma showcase, IFC, Central HK

The Movie 2012 and the recent Earth movements together with hot topics of the web social networking forums, this lost culture has been talk of the town. BTW, even the news just reported on the recent active movement of Yellowstone National Park with an annual 10cm land-rise - a sign of active volcanic eruption.
1. Originally tried to wait for the 2 human shadow a bit left but it's too crowded for me to wait. Still not bad to have some human shadow to make it more enigmatic.
2. the showcase is now held in the IFC mall (west side).
3. The show was co-sponsored by Leica. This photo was taken on 24mm, ISO60, 1/250 second, F9.5. I noticed most of the photos were taken in bright sunny days. Though the ISO was set at 60, the strong bright light over-expose the color to me. Leica claimed most of their digital sensors don't need the UV filter, as their sensors can have such UV offset but I found that's not enough. If the exposure is set at -2, the color wasn't that natural. Under this circumstance, personally a professional UV filter lens would help. Still optical adjustment is better than digital. *Sorry if I hurt the feeling of Leica's fans, but it is purely my personal view.
4. The showcase attracts lots of photography fans too.

The shadows go with the mystery. Remember to go do all the things you want to do this year. According to Mayan, this is it!

Maybe let's put it this way - "I have done all the things I wanna do last year.". So we don't need to get panic or upset from those prophets. From day 1, I don't like those, prophet or fortune telling. Why someone need to tell someone their future and what's ahead, either good or bad. We shouldn't avoid our fortune and things set by Creator (God). If that's the destiny, we have to face it.

When we were at Dec. 1999, it was already like the End of the World. So we passed. Come what may!

BTW, talking about "The end of the World", there was a time a Mainland Chinese came to me for asking a song 桃麗絲的天唱的世界未日, it took me 2 seconds to reboot my 8G ram to think of the song "The End of the World" sung by Doris Day. :)
