Sun Kee Restaurant, Wanchai, Hong Kong

This restaurant used to be in Jardine Street, Causeway Bay, loved by the students for its hot plate sizzling steak, pork chops...etc., as it is really cheap (HK$30)(US$4).  It is now moved to Wanchai, next to 198 game mall on Wanchai Road.  We ordered a chicken plus 2 dishes set with 2 drinks at HK$108 (US$13.5).  The chicken is pretty nice.  The stir fried egg with shrimp is a bit too well done, but still ok.  Then the mixed vegetable casserole is also pretty nice.  So considering HK$108, it's quite a good treat.  Nice time I will try the hot plate sizzling steak!

3 dishes and 2 drinks with $13.5 US is a good price. So HK still has good food at reasonable price.

I think it just depends on how we spend our money. I can spend B20 for a nice fish ball noodle in some street stall in BKK.

I saw from Jade Channel tonight that one Thai Restaurant in Wanchai has a fallen sign that hit a passenger dead(today).
Do you know that restaurant?

Yes, I passed by that restaurant quite often. It's just next to the Taiwan noodle shop, and opposite to the Halal Shanghai Restaurant on Wanchai Road. Actually that Thai restaurant list their food at an unreasonably high price. The decoration is so so; so I didn't feel like trying that.

Yes I saw this again at Jade Channel's New tonight.
The address is Wan Chai Road 207. They did not mention the name of the restaurant though.
