Noodle shop at Shinjuku, Tokyo

This noodle shop is also a must for me to go whenever I am in Tokyo. The soup base is the best to me among all the other noodle shops I have tried. There was a time I had a glance at their big soup pot. I saw some carrot, apple, celery, chicken, spare ribs..... Lots of ingredients! Then their noodle is excellent - with the taste of "flour". It's on the big main road of Isetan and 0101 in Shinjuku but to the direction of 2-chome.

Yes, the Yamagoya is nice on thonglor 11. The soup base is a bit salty. Their 90% done egg is pretty good. If you come to HK, I will bring you to a noodle shop opposite to the Jusco $10 shop (was the new Daimaru) in the Paterson street area, called Kan Dragon. You can order the soup base with "less salty", "medium salty", "more salty". Then you can write "less hot"..."less oily"...etc. You can also write "noodle less chewy".. "less thick"....etc. That one is a good noodle shop if I can't make a trip to Tokyo.

Yes Mike and Sea, "Yamagoya" at Thong Lo was a good noodle shop. I like it.
Please bring me to "Kan Dragon" on Patesoon Street if I go to HK. I like to eat noodle with my own particular instruction such as: more noodle, more meat, more eggs and half price.

No problem, just when you decide to make a stop over in Hong Kong. Besides this noodle shop, there are lots of other restaurants worth a visit.
