The below is an old flight record book written by a CPA (Cathay Pacific's old abbreviation as CPA) pilot in 1947. At that time the flight took 6 hours from Hong Kong to Bangkok and 4 hours from Hong Kong to Manila. Now it takes 2 hours and 10 minutes to Bangkok and 1 hour 20-30 minutes to Manila - around 3 times faster.
